Reading captions while simultaneously hearing the content is one of the few #ADHD accommodations that (I think) allow me to catch up slightly with non-ADHDers. It allows me to experience time in a similar manner. It speeds up my brain's processing by helping with focus. This facilitation through captions is also why I've grown to prefer virtual presentations and meetings. Options= greater #accessibility. In-person may work for some, often virtual works better for me and means fewer barriers.
