If you charge $900 or €900 for an event you're telling 80% of the planet you don't care if they take part or not. If on top of that you don't support fully-remote participation you're making a mockery of the cuddly bullshit you have on your website about being inclusive. So on behalf of friends who were finally able to participate on an equal footing in supposedly open communities during lockdown but are now having those doors slammed shut in their faces, fuck you from the bottom of my heart.
