4217 - D. G. Fitch: "@mekkaokereke Yep, all it took…" - disabled.social
Yep, all it took for me was one single experience of riding in a car that was pulled over with a Black man driving. Boom, the feeble lightbulb in my head flashed on. Same with watching a female programmer join an all-male team. 💡 It's a painful realization, which I suppose feeds the power to deny and sit in the cognitive dissonance.
