A former Turing PhD Enrichment Scheme participant, Trisevgeni Papakonstantinou's research delves into the psychology of human belief systems, examining why changing minds is so challenging – even with contradictory evidence. Our beliefs form part of larger cognitive models, making them resistant to change. By analysing social media data – including from Reddit’s “Change My View” – Tris aims to understand belief interactions and develop strategies to address entire belief systems.
