Australia's Family Court and child protection systems sometimes accuse mothers of "fictitious or malicious" claims about domestic violence, despite evidence to support their accounts, a royal commission has been told. The commission has interviewed more than 30 children with direct experience of domestic, family or sexual violence, and received written feedback from more than 131 children aged eight to 17 years old.
