Even now, when they're upset about diverse hiring, feeling they can't get "a fair chance" at something, they don't put it together that they are feeling the merest sliver of what everybody else felt for centuries. And that they're feeling it not because rooms are now 100% marginalized folks, but simply because 5 - 15% of diversity was introduced.
